The Primary Maths for Parents Hub is here to help!
In the FREE private Facebook community you can:
Ask for help with your child’s maths homework. Sometimes you just need 5 minutes with a teacher for them to explain how to tackle a certain part of your child’s maths homework in the same way they’ve learnt it at school. Asking your child’s class teacher just isn’t possible so ask in the group instead.
Join weekly live teaching sessions that answer questions about specific areas of your maths learning that happens at school. Subjects we’ve covered include: multiplying + dividing by 10 + 100, how to add in Key Stage 1,
Get help and support with learning times tables. Weekly tips + activities are shared during Times Table Tuesday to make practicing them part of everyday life instead of something extra to add to your to-do list.
Take advantage of the amazing ‘Units’ section in the group. No need to use the frustrating Facebook search tool to find the maths information you’re looking for. Head to the ‘Units’ section instead where you’ll find past posts grouped together by theme as well as a video library of all the live teaching sessions.
Find out about website, resource + activity recommendations from teachers AND parents in the group.
Celebrate your child’s maths learning wins. Not just for them, but for you too. Because we all know that behind those wins, you’ve been there helping them + that deserves a celebration.
